CrystalMaker Guide: Copying Graphics
The demonstration version of CrystalMaker does
not allow you to copy/export graphics. |
Copying Graphics to the Clipboard
The Edit > Copy Graphics command lets you copy the currently-displayed
structure to the clipboard as either a vector (QuickDraw commands) graphic
or as a pixel map graphic. You can choose the resolution of the graphic
(memory permitted). The window dimensions of the plotted structure define
the size of copied graphic.
Exporting Graphics to Disc
The File > Export Graphics command is analogous to the Edit > Copy
Graphics command, but the resulting graphic is saved as a Macintosh PICT
file on disc. Again, you have the choice of vector or pixel map graphics.
For the best quality, we recommend pixel map graphics. However, vector graphics
can be edited in a drawing program (e.g., Claris Works, Macromedia Freehand,
or Deneba Canvas).
Photo-realistic graphics are best copied/exported as pixel images. However,
it is also possible to copy them as QuickDraw pictures. Please note that
because of the limitations of vector/object graphics, the overall quality
will not be as high as for pixel images; however, you will be able to edit
all aspects of the drawing. |
